Q: What is an Pebbell GPS?

The Pebbell GPS is designed for families to stay connected with their loved ones.  Pebbell GPS provides a simple yet effective voice communication and locating mechanism to enhance and protect their everyday lives.  It uses GPS for premium location capabilities and GSM network to transmit those positions to a web-based portal to view those positions.  Our Mobile Network capability utilizes for the industry’s best UK coverage.  Our unique design provides a one button calling and SOS feature that is pre-programed with a designated phone number, making it easy for the child to connect with their caregiver immediately.  The Pebbell GPS  is also extremely useful for the elderly and special needs customers that require a similar solution.

Q: Will the Pebbell GPS work anywhere?

The Pebbell GPS is dependent upon two technologies – GPS (Global Positioning System) and cell phone (GSM). Anywhere you can receive both a GPS signal and have cell phone reception, the product will work. The subscription plans that are available through Pebbell GPS are based on usage in 32 EU Countries.

Q: Does the Pebbell GPS work the same in all locations?

  • No. The Pebbell GPS works best in suburban areas such as neighborhoods, houses, schools, parks, and flatter regions. It can receive a GPS signal better in those areas because it has less obstruction to the GPS signal. The more direct line of sight the GPS has to the satellites, the more accurate the position will be.
  • The Pebbell GPS will work on a limited basis in large cities where there are many high rise buildings.  Tall buildings can block the line of sight from the product to the satellite and make it difficult for the product to update current location data.
  • The subscription plans that are available through Pebbell GPS are based on usage in the Europe. If you are planning on leaving the country, then roaming charges will apply. Please keep in mind that different higher rates apply for different countries.

Q: Can anyone track my Pebbell GPS?

No. you will be able to list the 3 trusted individuals that you want to receive alerts. You can change or edit these individuals at any time as needed.

Q: What happens if there is no 2G or 3G coverage in the area?

The product will not work in any area that does not have 2G or 3G coverage.

Q: How far will the Pebbell GPS locate?  If my child left our town or gone Scotland, will it tell me?

Our system is designed to locate the Pebbell GPS anywhere in the UK (also EU) If the product enters an area without GSM coverage, the GPS feature will not be able to report its current location until it re-enters an area with network coverage. If you travel outside your respective country, then the product will use the roaming partners to transmit the products location.  Please note that no roaming charges will apply  in EU (HoIP SIM)

Q: Pebbell Geo-Fence - how does it work?

Pebbell Geo-fencing is the practice of using global positioning (GPS) to define a geographic boundary. Then, once this “virtual barrier” is established, the administrator can set up triggers that send a text message, email alert, or app notification when Pebbell device enters (or exits) the specified area.


The use of a geo-fence is called geo-fencing, and one example of usage involves a Pebbell device user entering or exiting a geo-fence. This activity could trigger an alert to the device's user as well as messaging to the geo-fence operator. This info, which could contain the location of the device, could be sent to a mobile telephone or an email account.

Q: How many contacts can be added to my device?

The Pebbell Tracker can store three emergency contacts. A SOS text message is sent to all the registered contacts that contains key information about the status of the device as well as a Google Maps link, which shows the location of the wearer at the time of activation. The Pebbell’s two way speech also allows the wearer to talk into the pendant and directly communicate with their contact. If the first number doesn’t answer the phone then the device will continue to dial the 2nd contact and in turn the 3rd contact.

Q: What method does the device use to send SOS alerts and make emergency calls?
The device comes with a roaming SIM card with £10 credit allowing you to quickly get to grips with the tracker. In order to maintain connectivity the SIM must be topped up. A roaming SIM guide is provided with your product to help you out with the top up process.

Q: I am currently using an iPhone. Will it work with my phone?
Yes, the device tracks to any smartphone. In order to receive location data. Map data is accessed through a linked text message

Q: What type of battery does Pebbell use and how long does it last?
Pebbell comes with a built-in,Chargeable 3.7V 900mAh battery.Current power usage on Standby mode is ≤2mAh. In normal usage the battery lasts usually over 10 days depending how active you use the Pebbell

Pebbell has a built in 3D G-sensor, when G-sensor detect there is no movement or motion in 5 minutes, device will goes into sleeping mode for power saving, if there is a slightly movement or vibration, violent collision or strong impact, i.e. someone touch your device or the device move slightly, normal walking, elderly/teenager falling, car accident, tow-away warning, incoming call, SMS etc, the device will be activated by G-sensor and start to work immediately.
Q: What is the warranty for Pebbell?
We offer a limited warranty that the hardware will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used normally and in accordance with our instructions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the limited warranty offered by us is limited for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.


If the time limitation of one (1) year from the date when the hardware was purchased is in non-compliance with mandatory law,  we offer a limited warranty in accordance with the minimum permitted by mandatory law.

Q: How does Pebbell for Children work?
Once you’ve purchased your Pebbell follow an easy three-step process. The location of Pebbell is determined through the utilization of the GPS satellite systems. Pebbell position is sent back as SMS and opening the SMS link then indicates the position on a map. This position can be viewed via the Internet or on a smartphone. There is also possibility to get back the street address only.
Q: What are geo-fences?
Geo-fences are virtual perimeters for real geographic areas. The Pebbell allows you to draw geo-fences in order to indicate “safe zones.” If your child or pet goes too close to the perimeter or leaves the safe zone area, you will receive an alert via your phone oor you can view live on web site.
Q: How small can I set a Geo fence area?
We recommend that you do not set the zone for less than 300 meters. This helps prevent false alerts
Q: How big is Pebbell?

Q: GSM LED is not blinking?
  • Not insert the SIM card
  • There is no GSM signal in your area

Q: How accurate is GPS location?
U-blox 7 GPS modules are able to obtain accuracy down to 5 -15m depending upon many environmental factors.
